Check the venue
Look for an island address. Events in Cancún, Costa Mujeres or the Riviera Maya can require a ferry and road transfer; some resort festivals sell packages rather than general admission.
Plan your return
Allow extra time around parades and agree on a taxi pickup point away from road closures. For a mainland event, check the last ferry back before buying tickets.
Pack for the evening
Bring comfortable shoes, a little cash in pesos, a charged phone and a light rain layer. For family outings, check the start time, age rules and access with the organiser.

Can I walk to every event from Casa Milo?
Check the exact venue first. Both apartments are in colonia Electricistas; downtown events may be easier to reach by taxi. Save the address and agree on your return pickup before the evening gets busy.
